A Bulverde-based contractor had successfully completed several office warehouse buildings throughout Texas using a standard plan. Unfortunately, when a client asked him to construct the building within San Antonio’s city limits, he was met with a long list of additional requirements which had to be met. Acuform and our design team was engaged to essentially start over with the site planning, building design, and prepare all necessary construction documentation to secure regulatory approvals and oversee construction.

 

The final design maintained the efficiency and cost effectiveness of the pre-engineered metal buildings coupled with the improved energy efficiency requirements and site improvements required by the City of San Antonio. While the plan was very simple, we developed a very cost effective Hill Country style front to reflect the welcoming character of the business leaders and appease neighboring residents.The building was arranged on site to permit future expansion for this growing San Antonio business.
