Giant Foods, Inc. of Landover, Maryland operates the largest chain of grocery stores in the Washington, DC area. Many of their 169 stores throughout the Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Washington, DC were built in the 70's and 80's and were in need of some updates. Our design solutions addressed numerous code-related issues, updated exterior facades and refinished many high-traffic areas. Our work also included surveying, recording, and designing solutions to defend Giant from an ADA compliance lawsuit.
Multi-phase continuous consulting project including surveying of all existing facilities throughout the Washington, DC area, and Pennsylvania for ADA compliance. Services were performed on a consultant basis.
