With growing suburbs, and a strong market for reliable automobiles, Harry Criswell was simply ahead of the curve when he purchased the side of a hill 20 miles northwest of Washington, DC. Due to the steep site, the service facility was located on the lower level, while the sales and administrative portions of the dealership were on the main floor. The two-story rear wall was painted to resemble the front as a billboard for the dealership. The dealership features a separate express lube facility and an automated carwash.
Services included design, documentation, and construction procurement of new Honda dealership. Worked with Owner and sales and service representatives to satisfy everyone's interests. Services were performed while employed with Flanagan Architects, PC.
