Aaron Dahl's early aptitudes for art and math led him to follow his childhood dream of becoming an architect.  He attended The Catholic University of America in Washintgon, DC, where he obtained dual concentrations in  Architectural Design and City and Regional Planning. After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in 1997, he  worked for two small, reputable firms in Washington, DC. Through them he gained an exceptional understanding  of ADA and FHA design while doing work for the
for Winnepeg, Manitoba, Canada, which  illustrated his focus on urban  renewal and design.

Since graduation from Texas A&M in 2003, Dahl has been working for a medium-sized firm in San Antonio. He  became one of the youngest fully licensed, NCARB certified architect, in the country, in 2005.  Dahl has been performing consultant design work under the name Dahl Designs since 2000; upon licensure in  2005, he changed the name of his company to Acuform Architecture. He possesses extensive experience in automotive dealerships, restaurants, and medical offices, and has worked on multi-family housing, mixed-use  developments, retail centers, office buildings, and luxury residences.
Department of Justice, the Architect of the Capitol, and Giant  Foods, a large mid-atlantic grocery store chain. Subsequently, Dahl began working on restaurants, automotive  dealerships, and high-end professional offices, providing services for McCormick & Schmick's Grill, Anton  Airfoods, and American Honda Motor Company. Dahl's work at small companies exposed him to business  management fundamentals, as well as to broad aspects of construction.

In the fall of 2001, Dahl chose to take his career to the next level. He moved to Texas and enrolled at Texas  A&M's Master of Architecture program. Because of his extensive professional experience, Dahl was given a  graduate assistantship, frequently invited to be a guest crit on undergraduate and graduate level juries, and  awarded the James A. Wilson scholarship for academic excellence.  Once again, he pursued a dual certificate  program in both Architectural Design and Facilities Management. His master's thesis project was a 1.4 million  square foot urban revitalization project
